I have been on a gluten free diet for over five years. In my 2nd year gluten free I was
diagnosed with rectal cancer. I had a tempory bag for 11 months and was on baby food during
most of that time. I have since been diagnosed with MAI in my lungs which they thought
was lung cancer! I have been on an antibiotic cocktail for over a year with not great
results. The medication has at times casued such diarrhea for 20 hours a day. So I have
to stop the meds and start over again. I take 6 to 8 Immodiam a day, citricel fiber pills,
asciphex for reflux and tylenol arthritis and last but not least claritin for allergies. My sleep
patterns are so bizzare as to be laughable and the pain sometime is an 8 (on a 1 to 10 scale)
I was fascinated to see other people have sleep problems and pain. I'm tired of talking about
it, not even my internist has suggestions and all of my doctors blame it on the celiac! Any thoughs!

Chris,
I am new and am doing poorly also but learning so much from this forum. I think this web site is fantastic. I had no idea what was going on or that others had the same strange symptoms. Keep reading this web site and you hopefully will find some answers.
You can also search a topic using the format at the top.

If you have been on antibiotics for over a year, I would suspect candida. Are you still on the antibiotics? Have you been taking probiotics to rebuild the beneficial bacteria? Coconut oil is also good for candida problems as are garlic and onions.
I would definately google candida infection and see what other recommendations are out there. I bet you'll see that you have a lot of the symptoms.
There have been threads on candida here before that have great recommendations, you might specifically google candida and this forum.
Welcome!
