dry.gif I live in Oak Lawn Illnois a southwest suburb of Chicago. I have seen support groups in the city or the northern suburbs but they are too far for me, especially after work. I really need a support group for this disease.
I am very depressed. Thanks

Pat e:

You can do to www. csaceliacs.org to find a support group in your area. But, I have found that the best information is here on this site.

We have countless people who have spent alot of their time to help those that have come behind them. Experience is priceless.

Please feel free to ask any question that you may have. Your questions or concerns will be welcomed and addresses. Don't feel alone. smile.gif

I hope you find a group close to you, then you can have the face to face contact with people in your situation.
We are happy to have you here and this is one big support group and you can attend in any attire you wish, so PJ's and slippers are allowed. Ask all the questions you need or share information. We are always learning. It's nice to meet you.

Hi pat e- are you close to Wheaton? The Whole Foods in Wheaton has a H-U-G-E support group (last I heard 750 strong). It's a once a month meeting which might not be so bad. Also, you might meet people closer to you or who can recommend something closer.

I live up in Arlington Heights and go to the meetings at the Whole Foods in Palatine.

Good luck! I know it's rough but you'll get it right soon.
