My husband has suffered for over 20 years that I know of with stomach problems. He has been to all sorts of drs. inc luding a physoicaltist. He takes several meds. and never any change. We've been married for 17 years and together for over 20, and only in the last 5 to 10 years has he really let me know of the things that go on with his stomach and in the bathroom. Because of his health problems we really don't go out much, meaning to eat or movie, just simple dating places and never go on vacation. Well after several doctors and tons of prayers our answers came on March 5, 2007 when I took our 3 yr. old son to his early check up and his dr. has not happy with his growth rate and wanted some blood work done. She says she wanted him to be tested for Celiac dieseaese and I asked her about the symptoms and the symptons she listed sounded just like my husband and I told her that, she said he should be tested also. Well ofcourse I went straight home and informed him of this and he researced Celiac on the internet and said "Oh my gosh they are describing me and my life!" Well that next morning we started his gluten free life with what we had in the house and then off I went to grocery store. He felt great that day!! So it's been over a month now and he still feels better than he did before March the 5th, but has had some bad days. I have done alot of research and have been reading from this forum for a month and it has been such a great help. I have people in my life that have Celiac or gluten intolerance and have been helpful also. I just have so many questions that I don't know where to begin. Just this morning I told my husband to check his toiletress and he had know idea that gluten was also in some shampoos, toothpaste, ect. so we checked and sure enough his shampoo has a wheat protein in it. And his altoids surprised him. Also I think I've read that mylanta or something helps when he feels really bad? He's been using rolaids and I suggested he stop because there was a questionable indredient. I have so many more questions but my 3 yr old is having a melt down at the moment so I must sign off for know.
SORRY FOR THE MISSPELLED WORDS, MY SPELL CHECKS NOT WORKING AND I WAS TYPING AS FAST AS MY BRAIN AND FINGERS WOULD KEEP UP.
Thank you and the gluten-free world:)

So your question is can I use Mylanta, right?
I could have sworn I checked those. What is the gluteny ingredient? I must have missed something.
