My cycles range from 29-35 days, well the last couple ones have been 35 days to the mark. This month I am already three days late, going by my 35 day cycle. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. When do they show positive if I were pregnant? Some say to wait 5-10 days after your missed period. Is that true? I also read that you can detect pregnancy 4 days before your cycle is due. I just want to know, even if my test are negative right now, could it be positive in a couple days? Don't want to stress though.

they have new test out that can tell you sooner so go to the pharmacy and look at all the test to find out.

I really depends on the level of the hormone hCG that your body is producing. This is what pregnancy tests actually measure. With my first pregnancy I had ept's come up positive just 6 days after our first try. With this second pregnancy I didn't get a positive result until almost two weeks after the first day of my missed period. So, it can really vary both by pregnancy and by person. I think a good rule of thumb is to wait until you're a week late, but we all know how hard it can be to wait. I took a pregnancy test every other day this time until I got a light positive. I was so convinced I was pregnant. smile.gif Guess I was right. smile.gif
