Attention Vendors,


The Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease will be held October 14th in Rye,
NY, co-sponsored by the Westchester Celiac Sprue Support Group.


Last year the walk had 422 people in attendance and raised $62,471.73 which
was donated to the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University

Although this year's walk date October 14th seems to be a long ways away,
three months will fly by in a flash. We have room for 60 vendors and we
plan to fill all of these spaces.

Each vendor will receive one 8ft. table which includes electricity for any
appliances that you wish to bring.

This year in addition to the walk there will be:

* Presentations by Dr. Peter Green of the Celiac Disease Center

* Presentations by Nutritionist Anne Lee of the Celiac Disease Center

* An available Gluten Free Lunch

* Family Blood Screening for 300 people, conducted by the Celiac Disease
Center at Columbia University


We are expecting an attendance of at least 700 people.The cost to vendors is
$75 for the chance to display, promote and sell your new or existing gluten
free or celiac related products.There are also sponsorship opportunities

All proceeds of the walk will be donated to the Celiac Disease Center at
Columbia University.

Colin Leslie is an extraordinary 15-year-old that was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2005. He is extremely active in his campaign for Celiac Diease awareness in his community and is organizing his second Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease. I am very impressed by Colin and his community service. This is no easy event for a support group of adults to pull off, let alone a high school student. The first Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease in 2006 raised over $62,000 for the Celiac Disease Center and had 422 people in attendance. I would love for our NYC Celiac Disease Meetup group to help make this year's walk even bigger and better.

Transportation to Rye will not be provided by the group but you can take Metro North from Grand Central to Rye, NY. Depending on participation from the group, carpools may be arranged.
