Greetings,

Does anyone have thyroid issues? I had my thyroid tested and my tsh was 3.64. My doctor told me I need to take meds, but I am in the normal range.

I have felt terrible for a long time. I have felt like I have the flu, I have nooooooooo energy and can't seem to get out of my own way. I am also being treated for Lyme Disease. I had a bite and my first test was positive.

Any thoughts????

Your TSH is really not in the normal range at all. That range of normal being up to 5.0 is long outdated, and now the upper limit of normal is 3.0, some doctors say it should be no higher than 2.0.

Mine was 3.79, and it took a lot of convincing to get my doctor to give me meds. The best one to try is Armour Thyroid (in Canada dessicated thyroid), as it is natural and contains both T4 and T3.

A lot of people with celiac disease who have thyroid issues also have adrenal fatigue. Check out what the people on this website have to say about both. It sounds like you could definitely benefit from treatment of both problems. www.stopthethyroidmadness.com

What is being done for the Lyme disease? That alone can make you feel absolutely terrible, of course. It can also cause thyroid problems.
