OK I'm sure this has been asked at least a million times:

There are so many little shorthand acronyms & abbreviations that people use on the boards...it would be nice if someone would just write up something for the FAQ section, which is where I looked first...

I justed wanted to know what "CC" or "CC'd" means.

CC = Cross Contamination

I'm not quite an old pro yet, but here's a few I can think of that are common:

CC-- Cross Contamination

D-- Diarrhea
C-- Constipation
BM-- Bowel Movement

Dx-- Diagnosis

DD-- Dear Daughter
DS-- Dear Son
DH-- Dear Husband or Dermatitis Herpetiformis

G F -- Gluten Free
CF-- Casein Free
DF-- Dairy Free
SF-- Soy Free
