My husband has been on Enbrol injections for 2 years. 5 months ago we went gluten free and have had amazing results. Skin rash is virtually gone. However, he continues to take the Enbrol to stay in remission.
Has anyone had any experience with going off of it for awhile? The literature suggests it can be stopped for up to 18 months without symptoms reoccuring and that it is just as effective when restarted. it would be nice to give his system a break from this drug, even for a little while.
