So I uploaded a photo to my profile, but I can't see it under my name on my posts...

Does it show up to everyone except me or did I not upload it to the right place?

I see a picture on your personal page. There are two places up upload a picture...if you want it as your avatar you'll need to load it there.

I see as your avatar a photo of your holding a dog. If you aren't seeing it you may need to force your browser to refresh its copy by doing a reload while viewing one of your posts.

No matter what you load as your avatar, the file name on here is always the same, so browsers may have something in cache and may not know that the content of the file has changed. The name is created using your user number, so in your case it will always be av-16258.jpg for your avatar and photo-16258.jpg for your personal photo, no matter how many times you upload a new pic.
