I know there are several places in Austin that cater to us, but I would love to meet others that are eating gluten free

Alamo Celiac has a chapter in Austin. I've been to one of their dining outs at Central Market (gluten free pizza - yum!) and had fun. I've seen lots of people from Austin here on this site, too.
