I never did get diagnosed with celiac and being gluten free wasn't enough. I started during the specific carbohydrate diet 3 months ago and it has really helped. Doing SCD also helped me figure out I can't eat eggs, onions, garlic and that I think I have an actual allergy to dairy. Well, on Christmas I started cheating and since I have been home from school for the last two weeks, I kinda continued on eating bad. Not really bad, but my acne is back, I put on 8 pounds and I have not been sleeping well. So I started eating good yesterday and now today I am sweating up a storm. It's cold in Florida now and I can't stop sweating!!! Do you think my body is flushing out all the bad stuff? What gives?

Kim,

I have read that this is a sign that the liver is working overtime. Try reading here www.liverdoctor.com. A little liver support and you might be back on track.

Fresh lemon water in the morning on an empty stomach helps cleanse the liver and kidneys.

Dry skin brushing and detox baths with epsom salts or sauna all take the heat off the liver and kidneys with the toxins they are dealing with.

Hope this helps!

Thanks April. That helps alot! I really appreciate your reply. When I went back to try eating gluten this summer for a test my body was hotter and I was unable to tolerate the heat. I would also wake up at exactly 3AM every morning and I read something about your liver regenerating at this time. I never connected this sweating with my liver though.

Thanks again!
