Hi all-

This is the first time I am posting to this thread and saw some of you talking about this testing.

I have been gluten-free 4-1/2 months, CF 2-1/2 months. I still have symptoms of chronic fatigue, irritability, sometimes constipation, depression - these have always been my symptoms. I am also hypothyroid.

Some have told me that I'm not getting better that fast because that is the nature of this disease. I have been sick so long. Others have told me to look for a different cause. Mind you - I spent thousands to get to the enterolab results.

Now I don't know if I should explore other food allergies or not. The problem is I don't even know what happens if I consume gluten (haven't done it on purpose yet). A few times, I experienced severe nausea and I wondered. So an elimination diet won't help me. Also I read so many pro's/con's about food allergy testing that I don't want to invest that kind of money. I keep thinking maybe soy should be next, but as you all know how hard gluten and dairy are all by themselves.

I know of a place nearby that does Meridian Stress Assessment and have considered this to help rule stuff out. Any advice? Thank you!!!

Lori,
I've seen two different EAV or stress medidian testing practioners.

Some say it's only as good as the person doing it.

My tests were slightly different with the two, but this is to be expected cuz our bodies do change some and have different needs at different times.

I thought my EAV was pretty good.

I did not get tested for foods with mine.

I was tested for weak, balanced and stressed areas.

For instance.... my adrenals tested weak, pancreas, spleen, bladder, kidneys, skin tested stressed. My respritory was balanced.

The practicioner would test my supplements on the machine to see if they were accepted by my body and would test new supps to see if they would help.

I also was tested for dental isssues, bacteria etc.... compatibility of dental materials and such. This was consistant with my Clifford blood test for compatibility of dental materials, so I think it's pretty accurate.
