I'm taking my daughter to Disney in February, and I have very little concern about dining in "the world." However, I do have to take "extra" food and snacks for her - just in case. As we all know... we simply *have* to be prepared.
We'll only be gone for 3 nights (4 days) so I'm planning on taking a carry on with our clothing... and another small bag for foodstuffs. Are they going to give me a lot of flack for taking stuff "on board?" Should I go to the doctor and get some sorts of a letter notating her dietary restrictions??
TIA for your advice and opinions!

I just got back from a trip and took walnuts (in shell with nutcracker), avocado, salt & pepper, bars, onion. I didn't take my own water bottle. but I do the raw food thing, eating something like a whole avocado being a normal meal for me. But they didn't bother me about these foodstuffs -- I don't know about prepared foods. Good luck.

Just avoid liquids on board. You can check them, though.

As long as you do not bring any liquids or gel like substances (i.e. yogurt, cottage cheese ect...) you should be fine. You can by water, juice and/or soda on the other side of security.
Have a super trip.
