I am trying to determine if a blueberry soup from a Swedish company call Ekstroms is gluten free or not. The ingredients are: Sugar, modified starch, dried powdered blueberries, maltodextrin, citric acid and ascorbic acid.

Since this is made in Sweden I have no idea if the modified starch is safe or not? If anybody has any information this would be extremely helpful. So far I’ve had no luck in my search.

FYI: this is also the soup served during the Birkiebeiner in Hayward Wisconsin

no red flags to me. but if there's a website or a number where you can get ahold of someone, that would be best, just to verify.

Is it made in Sweden? If it is, maltodextrin could possibly be from wheat. The modified starch is most likely potato, that's what's traditionally used in blueberry soup.
