Hi,
We are taking my 6yo son to the mall in Schaumberg, IL to the lego store for his birthday. Does anyone have suggestions as to where I could eat a nice sit-down meal in that area? It would double as a birthday dinner, so family appropriate is a must!

Thanks for any suggestions!

I wasn't gluten-free when I lived in Schaumburg but, a great restaurant on the street bordering Woodfield shopping mall is the Weber Grill. Everything is grilled on individual Weber grills so, very little CC and a steak and potato would be great!

A little north of there is a place called Bonefish. Actually there are a number of them around Woodfield, Skokie, Glenview etc. They have a a great gluten-free menu. Same owners as Outback.

I thought that charcoal can have wheat in it? Does anyone know if the charcoal they use at Weber Grill is gluten-free?
Thanks! Bonefish is an awesome idea. We have one in Brookfield and it is soooo good. I just need to plan ahead for the kids, cause they get impatient waiting in a restaurant. Nothing I can't handle! rolleyes.gif

I usually get back there once a year to visit my kids, grand kids and mother in Lincolnwood and only eat at Bonefish in Skokie.
Never liked Outback for other reasons although went to one in Guam a month ago. There, they had no idea what gluten or gluten free menus were.
Have fun
