Hey all-
My kids got gift certificates from school for Sonic Drive Thru, and of course are dying to use them. I know Sonics slushees (or whatever they call them there) used to be gluten free, but I can't find anything current on them. Anyone have any updated info?

I just called Sonic and this is what they told me "contains no gluten"

Coneys/hot dog
Cheese
Pickles
Soft serve Ice cream – plain (see below)
Condiments
Drinks/syrups/slushies (yeah!!!)

I asked the rep - what does plain ice cream mean? Does that mean plain vanilla only? Plain chocolate? Or just ice cream any flavor no add ins? She couldn't answer that question for me. I wanted to tell her she gets a "D" as her grade (not quite failing, as she did tell me some gluten-free items).
