This weekend we went on a little trip to Philadelphia to see the Auto Show. We stayed right by the Convention Center, had dinner at Maggiano's Friday night. We couldn't get reservations until 10pm, but that was fine with us. I had the Gluten free pasta in Alfredo sauce. I was disappointed in the Alfredo sauce, it just wasn't thick and creamy.... I did get a little sick, but I feel it was probally too much dairy than gluten being that it was only some D not the rest of my gluten symptoms.
Today on our way home we made the detour to Doylestown to checkout Jules Thin Crust. I have to say I was sort of disappointed.. it's not pizza as I expected it. It was super thin crust... i know.. it's called thin crust... but this is like Jules Anorexic crust. I ate a half a pie... still wasn't full. If you go, make sure you pile on the toppings because without lots of toppings... not much to it. I probally biased... pizza to me is all about the secilian almost an inch thick soaked with sause and toppings just dressing. Besides my philisophical issues with "crust" it was ok, kinda pricy, kinda out of the way, but i didn't get sick and it was nice not to get the deer in headlights look.
Overall I had two good meals.... not overly impressed with either one but i didn't go hungry!
