Is there gluten in Benedryl pills? I have a Kroger brand generic one and it says it has starch in it. Does anyone know? What about liquid form?

I have eaten something that doesn't seem to like me and am now breaking out with hives and eczema all over my face and eyes. What should I take?

Your skin reaction sounds like it may be DH (Dermatitis Herpetiformis). There's an entire forum on the board for this condition, located here: http://www.glutenfreeforum.com/index.php?showforum=26

I'd look there before trying anything.

Here's a link to the FAQs on the Benadryl site, which addresses your question: http://www.benadrylusa.com/benadryl.asp?se...e=10&from=0

I do know that iodine can make DH worse, so it can help to avoid sea vegetables such as kelp.

Thanks for this info!
I definitely have DH but this is a different type of breakout. I guess I'll make sure to keep the elixer around
