I ran out around 10:30 and it was beautiful, then I ran out several times to check on it. It was too cold to stand outside and watch and I do not have windows to watch from. The last time I ran out, it was over ! What I did see, was beautiful!

Thanks Tarnalberry for sharing the pictures. It clouded up on us and we missed it - the kids were bummed. These photos will surely cheer them up...otherwise we just wait until December 2010 to see it again.

We watched it with our Girl Scout troop. Pretty cool stuff.

We had a great view from the east coast. I couldn't help but wonder what the inhabitants here thought hundreds of years ago.

I wonder if anyone had the opportunity to view the satellite/missile explosion in space?

We had clear skies and very very cold but watched it all through our sky lights. Wonderful. I love that rusty red color!
