Can someone please translate into PLAIN old "dummy English?"
HLA-DQB1 Molecular analysis, Allele 1 0201
HLA-DQB1 Molecular analysis, Allele 2 0602
Serologic equivalent: HLA-DQ 2,1 (Subtype 2,6)
Now, I understand that this means I have one Celiac gene and one gluten sensitivity gene. But, in my results... it says:
QUOTE
Having two copies also means there is an even stronger predisposition to gluten sensitivity than having one gene and the resultant immunologic gluten sensitivity or celiac disease may be more severe.
Do I have two copies? And, how would I be able to tell that?? I'm just wondering why it says that if I don't. Or, is that a standard reply.
Help... please. =)
And, thank you much!
