hey i recently found out (from a physio therapist) that i have very little muscle in and around my shoulder jointsand that the muscle that is there is very weak.

When i mentioned my shoulder pain to my GI he didnt seem to think it could be related because he hadnt had a case where it had effected the joints recently (if ever).

However i have read websites that suggest otherwise, so, what i want to know is does coeliac effect the joints or is this jsut a conincidence. huh.gif

Thanks in advance.

It can cause you to be deficient in certain vitamins and minerals, which can give you joint issues.......I would get some bloodwork done to check for deficiencies. You might want to try Magnesium and vitamin B12 supplements. Up to 3,000 mcg of B12 a day (3-1,000mcg doses) and take 400mg Mg once a day to start. You can increase the Mg as you go, but too much will cause Diarrhea. Hop this helps!
